Torry Martin is an actor, author, comedian, and a dozen other things. His story of how he came to be those things is fascinating. Torry will be with us at Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in May of 2013. I, for one, am looking forward to that.

Torry was a highlight for me at the conference last year -- and for my daughter, who loves to listen to Adventures in Odyssey. Wooten is her favorite character, so hearing Torry speak at dinner one evening and then meeting him was an absolute thrill for her.
So appreciate Torry's perspective about tithing the first portion of his day to help other people.

I love you, Torry Martin, and can't wait to see you again. Thank you for your example to me of caring for others. You'll probably never know how many you a have influenced through the years.

Al, have you switched to Vimeo? Or is this not part of a pattern. I rather like Vimeo and I think you may prefer it. It's more - how do I say it - educational to YouTube's entertaining. Enjoy!

Hi, Daniel. I used Vimeo because YouTube wasn't letting me upload Torry's video. YouTube has a 15 minute limit but it allows select posters to upload longer. If you scope out the other videos I've done you will see that many run beyond the 15 minute mark. For some reason (and this might be a problem with the updated program I use to edit) I can no longer upload a longer interview. Torry's ran 18 minutes. I edited one version down but couldn't make the 15 minute without dropping some of the key stuff. So, that's why Vimeo. I may stick with them. Not sure yet.
