The James Harris
Memorial Scholarship Fund
The James Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund is established in the memory of Jim Harris, husband, father, grandfather, aerospace engineer, and avid reader. When not busy with his work at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in the high desert of California, or spending time with family and friends, Jim was reading.
On December 26, 2009, Jim lost his life in a tragic auto accident. He is dearly missed. Jim was one of my strongest supporters and a man who loved books, especially science fiction and fantasy.
In honor of the man and his memory, I’ve created a scholarship in his name; a scholarship funded by his friends and others who want to help discover new writers.

All contributions will be used for scholarships at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference at Ridgecrest, North Carolina and Southwest Christian Writers Studio at Glorieta, New Mexico.
