I'm looking for a new tagline for the 2011 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. As I thought about this it occurred to me that many of the most creative people I know are part of my social media neighborhood. Why not ask for their creative help? Wanna play? If so, then here's what I need:
- A tagline is a short statement that gives the reader a quick impression of a product or service. Think of the advertisements you've seen, read, or heard. Nike's "Just do it," or the milk industry's, "Milk, it does a body good." So, what pithy, memorable line will remind conferees of BRMCWC? ("Jumpstart your craft." "Leaving an eternal impression on minds worldwide.")
- You must be willing to grant permission to Gansky Communications and LifeWay to use the slogan.
- The tagline must be original to you (so please Google it before submitting).
I will enlist a few folks to help me decide which entry captures the essence of the conference.
Now the pay off: The winner will receive two--that's right, two--of my books, signed with love and gratitude.
ALSO, I'm looking for a verse of Scripture to capture the spiritual element of what we do as communicators. I have a few in mind but would love to hear from you. Same payoff as above.
So how about it? Ready to let your creativity loose? Feel free to post them on this site or send an e-mail to me at alton@ganskycommunications.com.
Thanks, you guys are the best.
